Your safety, care and comfort are our primary goals.Lee H. Colony, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a Board Certified plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He is a recognized national speaker and in addition to his lectures and live surgery demonstrations, some of Dr. Colony’s insightful comments are featured in “Be Your Best – A Comprehensive Guide to Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.”
Dr. Colony received his Pharmacy degree from North Dakota State University and his Medical degree from the University of North Dakota and the University of Minnesota. He completed his General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residencies through Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and he completed an additional one-year international microsurgery fellowship. At Michigan State University, he was elevated to Associate Professor and became Director of Michigan Plastic Surgery™ in 1996. Dr. Colony has active privileges at McLaren Greater Lansing and he has been the director of the Sparrow Burn Unit and Wound Clinic. An AMA member, he is also active in the Ingham County Medical Society, Michigan State Medical Society, and maintains membership in the Michigan Academy of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Colony resides in East Lansing with his wife and two daughters. They have three dogs and he enjoys outdoor activities.
