Double board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Kowalczyk specializes in rhinoplasty, deep-plane face and neck lifts, facial and plastic reconstructive surgery, head and neck surgery, and cosmetic surgery. Before deciding to further his training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, he served as a private practice general ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist (or Otolaryngologist). In this role, Dr. Kowalczyk performed a wide range of procedures involving the ears, nose, and throat, all of which allowed him to expand upon his growing body of knowledge, refined skills, and specialized experience. He then went on to attend a prestigious fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL under the direction of Dr. Dean M. Toriumi, the world’s top rhinoplasty expert.

Dr. Kowalczyk is also 1 of 2 physicians in the state of Colorado who are Level II certified experts in the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation Division of Independent Medical Examiners for ENT and Plastic Surgery of the Head & Neck.
