Dr. Conkright has been in plastic surgery since 1983 and is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery-the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify plastic surgeons. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky, “with high distinction”, and his medical degree from The University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He served a five year general surgery residency at the University of South Alabama in Mobile and a two year plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus.

In addition to his private aesthetic practice, he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, whose mission is to advance quality care to plastic surgery patients by encouraging high standards of training, ethics, physician practice and research in plastic surgery. Dr. Conkright is a 1971 graduate of Owensboro High School, was an Eagle Scout and had the distinction of having been on four consecutive Kentucky state cross-country championship teams from 1967 through 1970. He is the proud father of three children.
