Dr. Stephanie Koonce is a renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon who provides an elevated bespoke patient experience. She brings more than a decade of expertise and rigorous training in facial aesthetics, body contouring, aesthetic breast surgery, and complex reconstructive surgery to her patients’ care.

Following Dr. Koonce’s completion with distinction of her General Surgery training at the Mayo Clinic, she was selected for the competitive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Florida and honed her operative skills with leaders in the aesthetic field in the innovating milieu of South Florida. Dr. Koonce has designed and conducted numerous research projects, publishing over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters and frequently presenting nationally and internationally to her peers and colleagues at medical conferences and as an invited guest lecturer. Dr. Koonce is double board-certified, holding the prestigious certifications of the American Board of Surgery (General Surgery) and the American Board of Plastic Surgery (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery). Certification by the ABS and ABPS demonstrates a surgeon's commitment to professionalism, lifelong learning, and quality patient care. Since 1937, 10,275 surgeons have attained the benchmark ABPS Board Certification with approximately 7,644 in active practice as of January 2023.
