Adam Boettcher, M.D., is board-certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He joined the Plastic Surgeons of Northern Arizona family in the summer of 2012 when he moved from Michigan to Flagstaff to begin his practice. Born and raised in Minnesota, Dr. Boettcher earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern College, Saint Paul, MN graduating Summa Cum Laude, and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He was then accepted into a highly sought-after integrated plastic surgery residency program in Michigan, of the most competitive programs in the nation, accepting only the highest quality of applicants.

Dr. Boettcher’s desire to make a difference in the lives of others is what drew him to a career in medicine. While it was his love of problem-solving and anatomy that propelled him to the surgical disciplines, he ultimately found himself attracted to plastic and reconstructive surgery because of the diversity of the field. In fact, at PSNA Dr. Boettcher gets to work on everything from facelifts, tummy tucks, and breast augmentation to facial trauma, complex hand reconstruction, and breast reconstruction.

Married since his senior year of college, Dr. Boettcher is a father of two. When he can find the time, he loves playing and coaching soccer, skiing, and traveling with his family. A self-taught guitarist, Dr. Boettcher is a huge fan of hard rock but enjoys everything from country to pop to rap and rock on his OR playlist.
