Dr. Fred G. Fedok is the Past President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). Dr. Fedok had previously served as a Director-at-Large and as the Group Vice-President for Education on the Board of the AAFPRS. The AAFPRS is the world’s largest specialty association for facial plastic surgery, representing more than 2,700 facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons throughout the world.

• Dr. Fedok is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
• He was also Boarded by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 1987.
• He is a Fellow and Member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.
• He is also a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Dr. Fedok has previously served as the Chairman of The Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Education Committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery (2006-2013) and has been the AAFPRS Surgical Specialty Governor to the American College of Surgeons Board of Governors. He has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was Chair of the Surgical Committee (2017) and President of the medical staff at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in 2018.

He is the current Chair for both the Accreditation Council for Post-Graduate Surgical Education (ACPSE) and the Fellowship Committee for the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgical Societies (IFFPSS), overseeing all accredited fellowships in the world.
