Dr. John Pinnella, M.D. has been actively practicing cosmetic surgery for nearly 30 years, helping thousands of grateful patients look and feel their best. Dr. Pinnella earned his Medical Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at the University of New York at Stony Brook. He also attended residency at the Baylor College of Medicine for plastic and reconstructive surgery, enhancing his skills and improving his plastic surgery technique. Excelling in each of his residences, Dr. Pinnella was named Chief General Surgery Resident and Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Resident during his programs.
Today, Dr. John Pinnella is a member of numerous renowned state and national professional societies to further his education and experience in the space. These societies include the American Society of Plastic Surgery, International College of Surgeons, Florida Medical Association, Broward County Medical Society, and Broward County Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Pinnella also has international experience, having traveled across the world to participate in projects such as the Interplast Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Project in Lesotho, Africa and the ASPRS Educational Foundation South Korea Project.
Dr. Pinnella is committed to providing the newest techniques and technologies to accomplish the best results for his patients. He has repeatedly earned the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award in acknowledgment of his commitment to advances in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and continues to further his education as the industry grows.
