My experience with Dr. Beck was very unique. I’m the type of person where I have to feel a connection or just something in order for me to proceed with anything I do. With Dr. Beck all I can say is I felt “IT”. I was going for a top surgery consultation and to be quite honest I was nervous. Being in the LGBT community you find doctors to be assholes and just flat out rude and you feel just almost like you aren’t human. So I was really nervous on how he was going to approach my situation. Once I walked through the doors the ladies up front were more than welcoming. They make you feel normal and welcomed, which for me was a huge factor because I’m not open about being trans. So I went back and put on the blue vest and yes it’s weird having a doctor look and touch your chest, BUT the way he made me feel was very comfortable and normal. The biggest thing for me was he listened. I can’t stress that enough. I went to see 2 other doctors besides Beck and I knew once I met with him that he was that one. He had comparison pictures of someone who was the same age as me and the same fair skin. He explains everything so thoroughly that you feel like you know exactly what’s going to happen. For me, like most trans men, we want to have the keyhole surgery. As you know it’s rare and most people have to have double incision. I expressed how I felt about that to him and he listened. He understood how I felt about the scars and how I really didn’t want my incision to connect. So he did exactly that and that right there is everything you could ask for in a doctor. He looks like a hard ass don’t get me wrong, but he’s really caring, understanding, passionate, and believe it or not very loving. I highly recommend Dr. Beck over anyone in this area. He doesn’t take the easy way out like most doctors, Dr. Mossor, and makes you feel normal. I absolutely love Dr. Beck and I’m not too fond of people haha so trust me he is the right guy for the LGBT community.

My son Wesley went to Dr. Beck for the first step of many in his transgender surgeries. Dr. Beck was very thorough and explained everything that was going to happen during Wesley's top surgery and lyppo sculpting to get a more masculine body shape. What to expect after surgery and what could go wrong. His staff was as amazing as he was! They are all very comforting and answer any and all questions I can't believe how great the scars look and how well they are healing. The way he has sutured them there will be very little scar to notice when all is healed. I'm actually thinking of going to Dr.Beck for lyppo sculpting on my inner thighs, hips, flanks and arms. I can’t say enough about Dr Beck and the experience I had. I had a breast augmentation done and couldn’t be happier. He’s very honest and upfront about what to expect and possible outcomes. I love the way I look now. As a trans patient, Dr Beck doesn’t do cosmetic surgery, he changes lives. Forever grateful, thank you Dr Beck.

Like most men or people who are happy with a service I never write a review. I take this one more serious because these reviews are how I found Dr. Beck. I think plastic surgery reviews are sometimes hard to translate especially the negative ones and I can say if you find one about Dr. Beck or his office ignore them because they must be people who cant be pleased. I Think my experience was amazing for many reasons but best one was he never promised perfection he promised improvement and thats honestly all anyone can look for. Consultation Day. I was nervous compounded by being a guy going in for liposuction and its a voluntary surgery makes you think twice. I lost 82lbs on my own and go to gym 6 days a week. I am in good shape except for love handles and abdominal fat that wouldn't go away. I went in and he made me feel extremely comfortable that day his entire staff is about ass loving as it comes. He told me that I would see improvement and it would be noticeable but never set my hopes to high and I really appreciated that. A good number of people in his office have had something done by him and they talk about it so it helps you feel more comfortable overall. I will not see all the results until 5 months from now when my body has fully healed but at 4 weeks I am beyond happy. It shows more each week as skin is tighter and swelling decreases. I would do it again in a second and I would fly here for the procedure if I didn't live here. He wants your results to look great and never did I once feel like it was a money making thing. He is an amazing Doctor and well worth you putting your trust in his abilities because he is really good at what he does.
