Hi there! I am glad you stopped by to check us out. As a surgical sub specialist, you probably have many questions about why you were sent to my practice. I am a board certified and fellowship trained Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. I spent 6 years in Indianapolis at Indiana University undergoing extensive surgical training of the face and eyes. It began with a 4 year ophthalmic surgery training program and followed with a 2 year fellowship exclusively in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery in a combined program with Dr. William R. Nunery and colleagues at the Interface Aesthetic Surgery Group/Indiana University. My specialty is quite narrow in scope and has allowed me to develop a unique set of skills to help overcome the challenges of this delicate and vital area of the face. I take care of problems that people have involving drooping of the upper and lower lids and other lid malpositions, whether related to age, trauma, cancer, disease, etc. I am actively involved in reconstructing eyelid and facial skin cancers as well as tumors that invade the orbit (eye socket). I am also part of a team of facial trauma surgeons in Nashville that are using the latest technology for the most advanced facial trauma reconstructions, not only in the city and region, but in the country. I continue to take care of patients with complicated and advanced orbital diseases such as Graves’ Disease as well as both benign and malignant orbital masses. Finally, I enjoy taking care of patients with the often annoying problem of chronic tearing. Fortunately, we can fix this problem in the vast majority of patients. I have been involved and published the use of novel equipment and surgical techniques for helping address these needs.

I have been in practice since 2003 and have performed thousands of eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital surgeries and reconstructions. I have been voted by my peers as a Top Doctor every year since 2007 in both Columbus, OH and Nashville, TN. I look forward to using my unique set of training and skills to help you with your needs.
