I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and had to have a double mastectomy. Dr. Higdon did my reconstruction and while seeing him, I asked him about weight loss interventions. Then he explained different medications I could try. I tried the medication Trizepitide and wow. I ate better food choices and walked a lot. I was 194 last year and now, as of today, I am 124. I truly love Dr. Higdon and his team. They explain everything and listen to your concerns ans questions. I would give more than 5 stars if able. Thank you and your team Dr. Higdon!

Dr. Higdon performed thighplasty surgery on me and I’m only one week post-op, but already thrilled with the results. Everyone in his office was warm and welcoming from the start. Dr. Higdon was nice, friendly, professional, and compassionate. Before the surgery, he made sure I was comfortable and answered all of my questions, including my family’s. Highly recommend him for any surgical needs.

Ok- I’m 1 week post op so I will write my reviews for my experience up to now, and another one in a few weeks as my body adjusts to the end result. I got a “mommy makeover” or in my case a “grand”mommy makeover- breast augmentation and lift, liposuction on my flanks, thighs, and the bra fat by my armpits, a tummy tuck, and repair to my abdominal muscles. Dr Higdon came highly recommended- so I made a consult appt. When I say I’m glad I did it is an understatement. I was a little apprehensive because let’s face it- who wants to stand in front of someone naked who has a marker and their job is to point out the flaws on your body???? Here’s where the amazing part comes in- there’s something about Dr Higdon that makes you feel immediately comfortable!! He puts you at ease right off. So standing there in the most unflattering piece of small paper bikini bottom- we discussed what I wanted done. Ok fast forward to surgery day - surgery goes off with out a hitch, I’m on my way home- Dr Higdon calls to check on me. The doctor, not one of his associates- impressed me even more. I’m not going to lie- recovery sucks. Ok- just got home from my post-op appt- I should add here that every time you go to his office you are greeted by everyone smiling- real smiles, not the ones faked when you walk in, then walk away and their face goes back to normal. It’s been one week, 7 days since my surgery- my sutures all dissolved (except for 1 no big deal) and can I tell you- you almost can’t see (remember it’s only been a week) my scars on my augmentation and lift!!! I can’t believe it! (He did what’s called a lollipop lift so there were quite a few sutures) I keep going into the bathroom to look at them in the mirror because I can’t believe how good they look. If you want a plastic surgeon who you can feel absolutely comfortable with, AND who does amazing work- please go see Dr Higdon and his staff!!! My husband is going to him after I’m cleared to be “normal” again. I like Dr Higdon and his staff so much (Jamie, Lauren, Caitlyn are the ones I’ve dealt with) I’m sitting here trying to figure out what else I can have done. Did I say Dr Higdon is amazing? Dr Higdon is amazing! Ps- I should add he’s a hugger, I love a Dr who gives you a hug

Diagnosed 10 years ago with breast cancer Dr Higdon performed my bilateral reconstruction. Obviously a very emotional and scary time in my life Dr Higdon did so much to address my questions and concerns and make me feel confident and comfortable in the decisions we were making as a team. His bedside manner, attention to detail and concern for his patients is unparalleled. Fast forward I recently had an implant exchange and revision as my body changed over the past 10 years. In addition to changing the type of implant Dr Higdon was able to address the changes in my breasts and make things so much better…I am so pleased with the results.
