Profile

Dr. Ken Smart is a native of Dallas, TX. He received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Texas A&M University. He then completed a five-year general surgery residency at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, where he was an instructor of surgery and elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Following residency, Dr. Smart was awarded a two-year specialty fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Born and raised in Dallas, Dr. Smart is highly respected for his ability to approach plastic surgery not just with a medical eye, but with an artistic one as well. He decided to become a plastic surgeon to help men and women from Frisco, Plano, and all over North Texas achieve their dreams of looking more youthful and attractive.

Dr. Smart's office is very clean and professional. He and his staff were very informative about the liposuction procedure and told me everything I needed to know to prepare for surgery and the post-op recovery. The surgery went fantastic and I am thrilled with the results. Dr. Smart checked on how I was doing the very next day, and I've had several follow up appointments since surgery that have all gone well. I would highly recommend Dr. Smart and his very capable staff for any of your plastic surgery needs.

I would recommend Dr Smart a thousand times over! He fixed a bad breast augmentation I had done a few years ago. Flawlessly! I am so happy with the results, I couldn’t believe my eyes! He has also performed some of my injectables on my face and he was delicate and tedious about them! Plastic surgery (and injectables) can be frightening, but I assure you, Dr Smart will take care of you! He will listen to you and he will share his knowledge! He is very thorough and the girls that work at his office are absolutely amazing! If he isn’t your plastic surgeon, he should be!

In June, 2018 I went 6 hours away to have my surgery from Dr. Smart. He came with the highest recommendation from one of his nurses. My surgery was 8 hours and included a tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation, arm lift and liposuction of several areas. Let me tell you, I was very well taken care of and had ZERO complications. Dr. Smart and his staff were amazing! I would do this surgery again in a heartbeat as it was the best decision of my life. The self confidence I gained is absolutely priceless. I still have other surgeries that I want to have done and Dr. Smart is the only doctor for me.

In the spring of 2011 I had a tummy tuck with Dr. Smart. I love my results and they have lasted over the years. I am so happy that I recently went back for a breast lift. I am grateful to both Dr. Smart and his staff for the excellent care and compassion. I know I wasn't the easiest :)
