Dr. Kumar completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and his general surgery residency at The Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Then he completed his plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Kumar also completed a research fellowship in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University.
Dr. Kumar always knew he wanted to be a plastic surgeon and has been helping patients feel happy and confident in their bodies for 21 years. His philosophy as a plastic surgeon is to put his patient’s safety first while ensuring they are comfortable and delighted with their results. Future patients can expect Dr. Kumar to listen while providing all the necessary information to ensure a safe surgical journey. He always strives to treat his patients like family and be by their side before and after surgery. However, none of this would be possible without trust in all his patient and doctor relationships.
After talking to other plastic surgeons at Mia Aesthetics, Dr. Kumar knew the Mia family would be an excellent fit for him and looks forward to helping patients get the body of their dreams. During his 21 years of practicing plastic surgery, Dr. Kumar has gained extensive experience but particularly enjoys all body contouring procedures including BBL, breast augmentations, and liposuction. You can find Dr. Kumar cooking, riding his bike, and tinkering with things around his house in his free time.
