A warm personality and a gentle bedside manner have made Gainesville, GA board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Ed Abell, a favorite among patients and staff at the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville. With our practice since 2004, Dr. Abell fits in perfectly with his strong work ethic, dedication to patients, advanced surgical skills, and stellar outcomes. Ever since joining our staff, Dr. Abell has been providing outstanding plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face, body, breast, and skin for countless patients. It doesn’t hurt that Dr. Abell’s affable demeanor and enthusiastic spirit are contagious, making him a joy to work with. 

Dr. Abell obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Dr. Abell then attended medical school and graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine, in Memphis in 1997. Following that, Dr. Abell completed his General Surgery residency in the General Surgery program at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia in 2002. Afterwards, Dr. Abell completed his Plastic Surgery residency in 2004, at the University of Tennessee in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program.

Definitely recommend Davoodi if you want to be botched and pay $$$$$ for revisions. He messed up simple arm lipo so bad that I was deformed and had to have fat transferred into my arms twice. When I mentioned it, he told me it was my muscle and that I should workout to fix it. My surgeon in ATL was appalled and quickly recognized exactly what had happened (Davoodi only suctioned from the bottom of the arm instead of top and bottom and took too much fat out.) I wasn't going to leave a review because the paperwork you sign makes it nearly impossible to get refunds out of plastic surgeons but I found out Davoodi is the cancer center's go-to recommendation for reconstruction and I felt like I had to let people know to steer clear.

I searched long and hard for a surgeon who could fix me. I have RA and was told if I could get less weight up top, that it would help alleviate some of that pain. I am 1 day post op from. Dr Abell's surgery team and I am already liking the results. Such a sweet and courteous team.

Once this place finds out you’re an insurance patient and not self care, they couldn’t care less about you. Completely incompetent staff who only work their for their discounted Botox injections and not to actually do any parts of their job. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend unless you want to be treated like you are beneath them

From my consultation visit to my 3 month post op follow up- Dr Schaheen has been outstanding. Very friendly, personable, caring, listens to all concerns and overall just has a great bedside manner. I’ve told all friends and coworkers about my experience. His whole staff from check in and his nurses are so friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Dr Davoodi & his nurse Abbie is the MOST AMAZING!!! Dr Davoodi put confidence back in this Mama!! He’s not only a Doctor but an Artist!! My breast augmentation & tummy tuck look AMAZING!! Was my dream to have this done after having 4 beautiful children!! I arrived for my surgery on June 27th & it took approximately 4 1/2 hours (like I knew I was asleep haha) it wasn’t easy at first but after the 3rd day was up & moving!! I’m on month 3 & feel & look amazing & he keeps a very close eye on me & my recovery!! Even sent me flowers to my home after the surgery!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Davoodi with his years of experience & wonderful bedside manner!! He ALWAYS welcomes me with a big hug!! I can’t praise him enough for changing my self confidence!! Thank you Dr Davoodi & Big shout out to Nurse Abbie for all her kindness & warmth!!
