Dr. Garcia is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). Her area of expertise encompasses the management of abnormalities of the eyelids, lacrimal (tear) system, and orbit (the bony cavity surrounding the eye), skin care and cosmetic rejuvenation of the face. She also performs Botox injections and has experience with a variety of dermal fillers.

May 29, 2023Two years ago, Dr. Garcia came recommended to me by my optometrist for a blocked tear duct. Her care and professionalism in dealing with my issue and subsequent surgery was impressive. When I needed upper lid surgery last winter I also referred to her for recommendations. That too resulted in an excellent surgery. I will forever be grateful to her and her top rate staff.

Jan 10, 2023Took way to long to get an appointment and then charged extra money on top of a specialist co-pay. She did answer all my questions and was very friendly, just WAY to expensive. Would not recommend.

Jun 11, 2019My primary care provider (Tracy Stevenson--PA-C) recommended I see an ophthalmologist for my eye condition. So, I researched on the internet for top rated doctors in my area. Dr Denise Garcia has outstanding reviews and, after being treated by her, I can validate those reviews. She and her staff are thorough and caring. I had a 9:20 appointment and I was taken in at 9:20. By 10:00 I was on my way with information and a prescription to improve my eye condition. Being a technically-oriented person, I was fascinated to learn Dr Garcia was first and engineer and then went on to medical school. She knows her stuff and puts her scientific mind to work to help solve your problem. I highly recommend her. She is located in our growing medical community on Boston Street. Her office staff is very friendly and sent reminders to keep me on-time for my appointment.
