Dr. Duane O. Hartshorn, MD. FACS., is a renowned double Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon and founding partner of ReGenesis Plastic Surgery, Dermatology & Spa. Having honed his skills for over 25 years with experience in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Hartshorn is recognized for his expertise in the field of facial plastic surgery, his meticulous attention to detail, and his dedication to providing his patients with the highest level of care.

Dr. Hartshorn specializes exclusively in facial plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures. His areas of expertise are in surgical and non-surgical procedures for natural-looking, refined results to contour and enhance facial balance, improve function, and reduce visible signs of aging. He works with patients of all ages to realize their unique aesthetic goals.

Recognized by his patients and colleagues alike for his compassionate patient care, Dr. Hartshorn takes an individualized approach by carefully listening and centering his patient’s goals and concerns to create a personalized treatment plan. He and his highly trained staff at ReGenesis provide a supportive and comprehensive care experience where every patient can feel informed, comfortable, and confident from the initial consultation to post-operative follow-up visits.

Dr. Hartshorn is devoted to the highest standards of medicine and excellent patient care. He trained at some of the most competitive programs in the country, graduating from Colorado State University, the University of Colorado, Medical School, and the University of Michigan. He is past Chief of Staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center (2011-2012), and Board Member and past Chairman of the Grand Valley Surgery Center (2000-2016), and past Member of the Board of Directors of St. Mary’s Medical Center (2011-2019).

Having grown up and then returned to raise a family in the Grand Valley, Dr. Hartshorn firmly believes in giving back to the community. He is recognized for providing pro bono and reduced fee care for victims of domestic violence and
those with congenital deformities. He actively engages with local non-profits and children’s programs on the Western Slope and, alongside his family, established a scholarship for students pursuing careers in health care at Colorado State
University. Outside of his practice, Dr. Hartshorn is a proud father of four who enjoys skiing, mountaineering, traveling, and ranching.
