Dr. David D. Trigg was born in South Bend, Indiana and attended high school in Knox, Indiana located in the northwestern part of the state. After completion of high school, he attended Indiana University completing degrees in Radiology and a B.S. degree in Nuclear Medicine through the Indiana University School of Medicine, division of Allied Health. He then attended and completed his D.D.S. at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Upon completion of his D.D.S., Dr. Trigg attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine where he completed his Internship in General Surgery and Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Trigg was Chief Resident in both his third and fourth years of residency and had a strong emphasis in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Rounding out his education, Dr. Trigg also completed his M.D., Doctor of Medicine degree through St. Christopher's College of Medicine.

Dr. Trigg is married to his wonderful wife of twenty-four years, Karen (who happens to be his right hand in surgery and also has a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Northeast Louisiana University), and they have three amazing kids; Brittany, Austin and Logan. Dr. and Mrs. Trigg live on the south side of Indianapolis in Greenwood, Indiana and maintain a small farm with three horses, two Golden Retrievers, four cats and a Capuchin monkey.

Dr. Trigg was fantastic! I had lip surgery and he was very descriptive/detailed with telling me what he was doing as he progressed in the surgery. The front desk staff ladies were all great and very friendly, and gave great communication thru phone calls on appointments and insurance information. 11/10 service!

I had a wisdom tooth that needed to be removed immediately due to the pain it was causing. I kept putting it off for the past two years, as I have severe anxiety with the dentist. I also had one wisdom tooth taken out by a different oral surgeon many years ago and it was a horrible experience that ended in months of pain. So I prepared myself for the worst. I even had my husband take off a few days from work. Dr Trigg is a miracle worker. I had absolutely no pain. Other than some ibuprofen, no medicine was needed, no dry socket. I truly waited days for the pain to show up. I couldn’t believe how pleasant the entire process was. His staff is so kind and sweet. He made me comfortable and pain free. Thank you for this experience, I truly needed it.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr Trigg. He explained everything thoroughly and took such good care of her. The staff were professional and efficient. They answered my questions and their estimate for the total was exactly right. Karen assisted Dr Trigg and she was so kindhearted. I really appreciated the care and support of Dr Trigg and his staff and I highly recommend them.

Completely unprofessional experience. Office staff regularly argued about things at the front desk (like who’s job it is to do what), didn’t know how to obtain the operative note for my child’s surgery, and usually seemed super stressed/had no interest in helping. Dr Trigg himself has no bedside manner to be working with toddlers. Not a single smile, no friendliness, just in and out the door with stern and minimal explanation. Didn’t do hearing tests before or after ear tube surgery, which left us having to wait until a 6 month follow up with a different ENT to get a hearing test done and find out our child has severe hearing loss in both ears. I called for months trying to get my child’s file sent over to the new office and they were so challenged by this task. I had to call the surgical center myself to get the operative note sent over, after the front desk gal told me she didn’t know where that would be stored, and that there’s no need for one because it’s a simple ear tube placement. She had no idea how to obtain my child’s medical information. The new ENT was beside himself that hearing tests weren’t done before or right after the tube placement, which we didn’t even know was a pretty standard protocol. Thankfully the tubes themselves look okay, but would not recommend this office to anyone.
