Dr. Suber made the Upstate of South Carolina his home after having completed his training in plastic & reconstructive surgery at the prestigious MD Anderson and St. Joseph Hospitals in Houston, Texas. With the blend of these two institutions, Dr. Suber has had in his core training a unique combination of one of the broadest and most in depth exposures to both cosmetic surgery and reconstructive procedures available in the United States. through St. Joseph Hospital, he received additional advanced training in microvascular surgery. Dr. Suber is also fully trained in general surgery, which he completed in Pennsylvania.

A South Carolina native, Dr. Suber has had a keen interest in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery since his teens, having benefited from a broad exposure to multiple surgical specialties by his physician/surgeon father. In his early teens Dr. Suber earned the Eagle Scout award. He is an honor graduate of the College of Charleston (Biology/Music) and the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Suber has extensive experience in the full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including cosmetic surgery of the face and body, skin cancer, body contouring and breast surgery, surgery of the hand (carpal tunnel, trigger finger, soft tissue tumors) and management of acute soft tissue trauma. Additionally, Dr. Suber has had one of the strongest exposures in the Carolinas to management of patients with excess skin and soft tissue resulting from massive weight loss (gastric bypass, lap banding, non-surgical weight loss).

Dr. Suber did my arm lift and some liposuction. He has done my tummy tuck a few years back. I could not be happier. He has always explained things so that I can understand them, and answered by questions. He has always put me at ease. My incisions are low on my arm and hard to see. He told me before the surgery that he would "hide them in my blindspot" so that they are hard to find. He took out my drains himself and saw me at all my post surgery appointments. That is rare! My arms match my body well and I can now go sleeveless without feeling insecure. I will definitely be back! :-)

I lost a lot of weight after my gastric sleeve. So I had a lot of extra skin in all directions, and my muscles were stretched out. Dr. Suber saw me and didn't pass me off to one of his staff. I was surprised, since that seems so common nowadays. My surgery went great, and Dr. Suber was so thorough and detailed. He even takes photos of my results and the tissue he takes off for me to have. I have a new lease on life! I couldn't recommend him more. I will be back for sure.

Dr. Suber came highly recommended by friends of my who he had operated on. My husband and I were very happy with the consult, where he spent over 30 minutes with us. He answered all our questions. He was so thorough. I have had a few children and my belly was stretched out a lot. My muscles were separated a lot too. I am very happy with my results! My belly is flat now and my scar is low under my underwear line. He saw us at every visit after, and seemed happy to speak with us even on the weekends after surgery. This guy is a real gem!

Definitely do NOT recommend going here , had my boobs done back in 2021 & have been waiting for revision since then . I was first told it would be $220 then some new workers came in then they told me it would be $880 . First of all why am I having to pay for something DR.SUBER himself messed up on ?? He charged me $3000 just for side cuts and they are uneven , scaring is horrible . It seems like he does not specialize in the breast only tummy tucks . The work is so hideous that I would’ve rather kept my old boobs if I knew he was gonna mess me up like this . He’s all about the money if you ask me , ive reached out multiple times in regards to him fixing what he messed up but couldn’t never talk with him or anything to get this situated so this was my last option to make everyone else aware . Do your research and go somewhere else if you want good results .

2 star rating because the surgeon HIMSELF was good at the consultation. i got approved for the surgery by my insurance & was told id get a call from their office. never got a call i ended up having to call myself. it was a young girl that answers the phone she’s rude & doesnt have a clue in the world what she’s talking about. when i called they told me about paying over 5,000 for a lipo that i NEVER asked for then they asked for a 500 deposit. i asked why i had to get a lipo she said because its “aesthetically pleasing to him”. i never went back & they billed me over 200$ for nothing and i WILL NOT be paying it. i found a different surgeon & i didn’t have to pay 5,000 or 500 to have my surgery & im VERY VERY VERY VERY pleased with my results. DONT COME TO THIS OFFICE ITS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Staff has gone completely down hill. Was ready for a revision for them to tell me that I have to pay MORE MONEY. Even though the insurance completely covered the surgery. They hand me paperwork and say that I have coinsurance for $485 and Dr fees for $118. I explained that I met my deductible and I have no more copay. Then they stated the coinsurance covers needles...like what?? I then said that I will pay the Dr fees for the $118. The lady states that it's a misprint and that the Dr fees are actually the $485. By this time I'm totally confused. I asked to speak to the Dr since I have been with him for years to get an understanding. And they tell me no....I can't. I will NEVER EVER go back to a business that is this unprofessional. There are definitely better out here

Where do i start. First off, Dr. Suber messed up my breast reduction and my arm lift. He left one arm bigger than the other and and my arm still has no feeling after 2 years, and my hand goes numb sometimes. He wanted me to pay him to fix my breast, and i was pissed! Why should i pay you to fix what you messed up when medicad already paid you a lot of money. He did my tummy tuck and went too far back and left my butt in a box shape when i never ever needed work done to my butt. It was perfect. I paid him to fix my scars, and they were worse than the first time, and one swell up so bad and was full of blood. I went to him sooooo much time on these complaints, and he kept telling me he would fix it and it would get better and never did. He argued w me in his office and refused to fix his mess ups for free. i wasted a lot of time and money! I had to pay another doctor to correct all his mistakes, and she did absolutely amazing!!!!!! I do not recommend this office. He is mean and rude and has no good bedside manners at all.

I had my knees, inner and outer thighs done in 2021, right to this day 2023 I still don’t have all my feelings back in my right thigh, I call the office with concerns the nurse always tells me to see an orthopedic, I’ve always had problems with my left knee not my right, I also have a deformity on my inner upper part of my right thigh, when I wear some pants it makes me look like I have a male part if you know what I mean there, I was out of work for months(self-employed) I asked the receptionist to fill out some paperwork last year so I can get paid for being out of work, call the insurance company weeks later to see if it was received they said no, but they still saying they sent it, now it’s to late filed, it seems as though since they got their money it doesn’t matter that I don’t have complete feeling in my right thigh, I regret having this surgery I should have went with my gut feeling, when he was on crutches and cancelled but I would have lost most of my money, save your money, get a personal trainer, quick fix didn’t work for me, yes all my office visits were great before surgery but it’s the non concern about the nerve damage on my right thigh that’s getting to me. I wasn’t going to say anything but they don’t care so why should I continue to hold my tongue. I didn’t address the butt part, money wasted on that too
