Dr Jacobson is an excellent doctor. He is an excellent communicator and clearly presents the possible choices and outcomes of the treatment. His”bedside” manner is both compassionate mixed with a sense of humor.

My first experience with Dr. Jacobson was following a late afternoon appointment with my primary care physician. I had a broken finger and was advised to see Dr. Jacobson, that he would fix it. A quick call to his office and he was able to see me that night; and he fixed my finger! Since then he has also performed surgery on both of my hands for severe carpal tunnel with great results. I would highly recommend Dr. Jacobson for any hand problems.

This is the third time I have worked with Dr. Jacobson and the first time in several years. I appreciate Dr. Jacobson’s personality as much as I do his work. He makes you feel very comfortable and is very responsive to questions and calls. I will continue to use Dr. Jacobson for all my surgical needs and I highly recommend him.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Jacobson. He is the kind of Dr. that everyone hopes for and one that rarely exists anymore. I asked a million questions and called the office several times with concerns. Dr. Jacobson called me the same day himself each and every time I left a message and I never felt rushed! He even called me on the weekend! No other Dr. that I have encountered within the last 5 years has made himself so available to their patients as Dr. Jacobson! He is one in a million! He is renowned for his surgical abilities, especially regarding the carpal tunnel procedure I had. His expertise is beyond compare. He is professional, patient, and extremely kind. My surgery was painless and easy. The option to have local anesthesia was amazing. The procedure was painless, finished in 15 minutes and I was able to leave the hospital quickly. In my case, the discomfort was minimal the next day thanks to Dr. Jacobson. I only needed to take a few doses of advil and/or tylenol (alternating the two meds for pain was recommended) during the day. No pain medication was needed by the evening the day after the procedure. Before the procedure the pain would travel up my arm to my elbow and shoulder and would wake me up several times during the night. My fingers were numb most of the day and I was constantly dropping things. The evening of the surgery I slept through the night for the first time in years. I immediately threw out my night wrist guard. I have no pain at all anymore! My fingers are no longer numb and I have full use of my hand. My only regret is not finding Dr. Jacobson years earlier and having the surgery (HE perfected) sooner. I should also note that Dr. Jacobson does not accept my insurance. After much research and recommendations by people in the "know" it was obvious that Dr. Jacobson was the most experienced and highly rated Dr. when it came to this procedure. I was devastated to find out he didn't accept the insurance. I am not wealthy by any means. Dr. Jacobson was very considerate of my situation and alleviated my angst over cost. He was very patient and very fair. He contacted my insurance and worked with them despite not being a participating provider. If I could give Dr. Jacobson 10 stars I would. He has earned his stellar reputation honestly. He deserves his high rating and the acclaim of his patients and colleagues.
