Dr. Patel is a skilled surgeon, however the business practices of his office are unethical. Although Dr. Patel was a contracted provider with my insurance and the insurance company agreed to cover my medically necessary procedure, he refused to work with the insurance and told me all necessary documentation would be provided for me to file the claim on my own. That was a huge red flag I overlooked due to necessity of having the procedure done quickly. It took many months to a year of emails and phone calls with the office and outpatient surgical center to receive appropriate documentation that I pieced together for the claim. Dr. Patel's office then attempted to file their own claim and indicated I had not paid for the procedure, which was false as I had receipts of all payments that were required before the procedure. The situation eventually required legal intervention and the Illinois Attorney General. Dr. Patel delayed the process and refused to refund the $5405.39 overcharged.

I came here because I was assaulted and my nose was broken broken. The staff was very caring and genuine. Xr. Purely was very thorough and professional. And it was such a quick process, I had my consultation on a Thursday and my surgery was the following Tuesday. Any questions I had he answered and he explained everything he was going to do before the surgery. Very great doctor, and any other work I need done, 10 out 10 best doctor in Chicago.

I have always had small breasts with uneven cup size that led to a lot insecurities. Finally I started my search to find the best plastic surgeon for my breast augmentation. It was a process alright....6 months and multiple consultations...and final choice was Dr. Patel hands down! I had my breast augmentation with Dr. Patel a few months ago. I am very pleased I chose him as my surgeon. I was worried that I would look “fake” or “overdone” and the implants wouldn’t look right on on my body. Dr. Patel assured me that right implant size and profile choice will give me natural results. During my sizing exercise, his staff helped me choose a size that would look natural on me. During the consultation, he was very honest and made me feel confident that I was making the right decision. We had to choose different size implants to obtain even looking breasts as I have uneven breasts. The whole process went very smoothly, from scheduling, to the actual surgery. Dr. Patel was very kind and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. I absolutely love my results. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel and his entire staff!

He had to spend several hours just cleaning out the scarring and leaking silicone left from the rupture. He then meticulously repaired my Breast pockets for the implants, as well as adding abdominal fat in order to make an incredibly natural look and feel. I love the results of my 360 body liposuction too. Before surgery, my breasts were hard and in my arm pits. Like I mentioned, I am very happy! Secondly, I was given all the information before my surgery, so I knew what to expect. If I had additional questions, they were always answered to my satisfaction in person or over the phone. And thirdly, Dr. Patel and his entire staff are friendly, compassionate and helpful!

The staff is so friendly here at the Hoffman Estates location. Every time I walk into this office, I feel very welcome and cared for. Jenny has worked the front desk since I began coming here over 2 years ago, and she is ALWAYS smiling and accommodating, making every visit here even more enjoyable. The office is decorated beautifully with a welcoming and relaxing ambiance, complimentary coffees and teas, & there is free parking in the big parking lot! I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment with MICHELLE. She is absolutely AMAZING and I am so glad I found her. She listens to what you want and knows exactly what to do to help achieve what you are looking for. I also recommend AMY- she gives amazing facials! They are both extremely friendly, knowledgable, patient and talented. I will not let anyone else touch my face ever again.. book an appointment with Michelle or Amy and you will not be disappointed. I trust my skin in the hands of Chicago Institute and know the staff are capable of helping to achieve the best results possible and make you feel beautiful.
