Dr. Barrera has the magic touch. I made the mistake of going to another plastic surgeon because I did not like the drive since I moved almost 2 hours away. Dr. Barrera initially did my breast implants, GREAT JOB! However, I waited too long to get them replaced , there was a small rupture and got them removed. My mistake is going to a different doctor. Nice guy, but I had a lot of issues after the removal of my implants and the lack of concern by the nurses in that office was very upsetting. I also had rhinoplasty there because I broke my nose in high school and had lots of difficulty breathing. I was not trying to change my nose, I just wanted to breathe better and it completely changed my face and I did not recognize myself. During the same procedure, fat was placed under my eyes to help the bags. Too much fat was placed and the fat really never dissolved and started looking lumpy. Needless to say, I will never return. Having said all that Dr. Barrera fixed my breasts, they are BEAUTIFUL! He did minor work on my nose and removed the fat and lumps from underneath my eyes. AND I FINALLY, AFTER 7 years, I RECOGNIZE THE GIRL IN THE MIRROR!!! THANK YOU DR. BARRERA! I am so grateful to you and your AMAZING and CARING staff! I will NEVER go anywhere else! Dr. Barrera you are FOREVER MY #1! Much love and admiration!

From the initial consultation appt w Dr. Barrera to the final check-up, each step of the procedure is flawless. His support team is so accommodating and friendly as well as helpful before, during n after procedure. Every question I had, and there were a lot, was answered and discussed. Dr. Barrera is wonderful and I had such a great experience with rhinoplasty and a small fat transfer to my lips. He is an incredible and skilled surgeon, and really listens to your concerns. His staff is also fantastic - Jessie is so kind and was so patient with answering any questions that I had leading up to my surgery date, and all of his office staff are so sweet and patient as well. I travelled from Dallas for my appointments and would have travelled further if I needed to. The whole process, from consultation to the day my cast was removed were such a breeze. The fact that the surgery itself was painless and that I had virtually no bruising after truly speaks to Dr. Barrera's skill and experience. Just 7 short days after surgery, my nose already looks perfect with hardly any swelling. My lips are exactly what I was hoping for, with a bit more volume but still very natural. There are a few more small procedures that I want to have done and I would not go to anyone else besides Dr. Barrera.

Dr.Barrera came highly recommended by another surgeon who said Dr. Barrera did the BEST hair transplants, so with that recommendation I drove from Dallas to Houston to have my 'sideburns' replaced after a recent facelift. It is still early in the game but my hairline looks better than the one mother nature gave me!! Dr. Barrera was wonderful to work with, he explained each step and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Barrera and his staff and would highly recommend him for any cosmetic procedure you are considering!
