He then went on to complete his general surgery internship at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and completed his integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He spent the final two years of his residency specializing in facial aesthetics with a focus on rhinoplasty, facelift and periorbital rejuvenation.
