Profile

Dr. Danielle Andry was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended St. Joseph’s Academy High School, a blue ribbon school of excellence. She went on to pursue a biological sciences degree at Louisiana State University, where she graduated summa cum laude on a full academic scholarship. She was then awarded a scholarship to the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine in Dallas, Texas where she completed her medical doctorate. It was there that she found her passion for plastic surgery. While at UT Southwestern, she spent designated time with innovators in plastic surgery performing research and observing innovative plastic surgery techniques. Even as a medical student, she was praised by her surgical professors for demonstrating exceptional operative technique and clinical decision making and was noted to be a rising star in the plastic surgery community.

After obtaining her medical degree, she began her training in plastic surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center where she trained with specialists in breast reconstruction and aesthetic plastic surgery. She then moved to Houston, Texas to complete her plastic surgery residency with her husband at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. During her training at UTMB, she trained with innovators in body contouring, aesthetics, and general plastic surgery in both Galveston and Houston.

She also received training at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center for microsurgery and breast reconstruction, St. Joseph’s Medical Center for cosmetic surgery, Shriner’s Children’s Hospital for pediatric plastic surgery, and several aesthetic practices in the Houston area to refine her cosmetic surgery skills. During these years, she elevated her surgical skills and developed a special interest in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, vaginal rejuvenation, and body contouring procedures. Her mentors consistently evaluated her as being one of the top plastic surgery trainees with an excellent aesthetic eye, exceptional surgical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Dr. Gibbs is a very good Dr. The medication she prescribed me on the first visit helped me out a lot. Didn't need to have further testing done when I'm went back on my second visit. She told me to continue using the medication and would see me back next year. She is a very nice Dr. The staff are also very friendly

Dr. Suzanne Alkul performed my dad's Mohs surgery. She has the best bedside manner! She was incredibly kind and gentle with him. The staff was also wonderful! The surgery was easy and he has not had any pain. The scar looks like it will heal very nicely, quite possibly be invisible. Thank you, Elite Dermatology for treating my dad so well! Thank you!

I just finished my Mohs surgery and LOVED my surgeon and all the nurses/med techs! My previous review is unchanged. The operations staff is superb. Kind, friendly, courteous, and efficient! . My care was super; most especially Dr. “All Cool” (unsure of spelling). Tan, Teresa & all the other medical staff members were the same. The Dr. had perfect bedside manner; chatted with me and shared a bit of herself as I did. So very relaxing and smooth. Again, I found the administrative staff generally uninterested in customers. They ignore you unless you interrupt their work. Even then, they don’t stop to hear you but speak with their eyes down and continue their work while “listening.” Communication is less than adequate. Almost completely by auto text, portal email or other non-personal modes. If what you care about is exceptional care, this is your place. If you want quick, caring and efficient communication and action from the Administrative side; look elsewhere. I’ll be staying since I love the medical side so much!

Dr Boulavsky is a fantastic provider! Not only did she address the medical side of my daughter’s dermatological issue, but the psychosocial side too, which I really appreciated. This is so important for tweens/teens who are so sensitive to others’ opinions of their appearance. She is friendly, warm and easy to talk to. Highly highly recommend!!!!

The front desk staff, particularly the Asian lady, was very rude. She knew my older son is a patient of Dr. Wang for his psoriasis from past 4 years, and...
