Dr. Etai Funk strives to be the best in all aspects of facial plastic surgery. His top honors and awards in facial plastic surgery are testament to his dedication and commitment to the field. He continues to publish papers relating to plastic surgery and is determined to obtain the most aesthetic, natural, and pleasant result for his patients.
Dr. Funk has always considered Houston his home. After receiving his B.S. from Tulane University, where he earned a position on the Dean's Honor List every semester, he elected to return to Houston to pursue a medical education that would prepare him for his career as an award winning board certified facial plastic surgeon.
He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as a junior medical student. Graduating in the top one percent of his class, upon commencement, he was honored with the Outstanding Student Awards in Surgery, Development Anatomy, Neurobiology and Anatomy.
