He has summited 45 of Colorado’s fourteen thousand foot peaks, including the picturesque Maroon Bells near Aspen, the fantastic Crestone Needles, and Colorado’s most difficult fourteener, Capital Peak. Dr. Mentz loves the outdoors, and before he started his family, he spent his spare time fishing, biking, kayaking, and backpacking.

 

He married his wife Paula in 1989, and is the proud father of four wonderful children. He has enjoyed the journey of his children’s three Eagle Scouts and one Gold Scout award, high school sports, and college. He is so proud of all their accomplishments. He and his family enjoy travel, adventure, great friends, and good food.

Today was my second and last pre-operation visit. I won’t lie; I was full of anxiety when I get there and probably didn’t make the best impression, but Dr. Mentz and his assistants helped me to come down to make the right choice and stick to my plan with the procedure If not Dr Mentz, I probably wouldn’t be ready for plastic surgery for many more years But deep inside my heart, Im confident that he will do his best to keep me safe and happy with the results. Something is off with their phone line. First time I called. I heard the automated system, but after I pressed the option to book a consultation, the call went silent then eventually hung up. I called again and got to a receptionist. She asked, how she could help me. So I asked about the price of a consult. Then she just repeated her introduction. After that, I asked if she could hear me a couple times. I think she heard me the second time but since all she did was repeat her introduction line, instead of confirming that she could actually hear me. I ended up asking if she could hear me at least twice before realizing that she probably could hear me, based on how her tone of voice changed 😅. Anyways, told me the the consultation price was $250 and that the soonest availability for one wouldn’t be until the middle of next month. Based on that, I politely told her that I would consider it and get back to her… but then I heard silence again. No response until I hung up. Very awkward phone call. But on the other hand, if the surgeon has $250 consultations booked out for the next month, he’s probably good at his job.

10/10 recomend. He was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. His staff was amazing and went above and beyond when I was feeling anxious. I absolutely loved his anesthesiologist, I have never had one that genuinely seamed to care I had a brow lift, and they had a nurse come to my house to check on me, they have called every day. This has been a great experience so far and i will definitely recommend dr mente to my clients and friends and I personally will be back!!! I found my Dr that I can grow up with!!!!
