Raymond J. Haigney II, DDS, FACS is one of the most highly trained oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the country. Dr. Haigney graduated from Loyola University, Chicago College of Dental Surgery, and went on to complete a hospital internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. He then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgical residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery in Atlanta, GA.
During residency, Dr. Haigney received unsurpassed experience in dental implants, wisdom tooth extraction, corrective jaw surgery, temporomandibular disorders, facial trauma, reconstructive facial surgery, head & neck cancer, as well as specialized training in sleep apnea.
Dr. Haigney possesses dual board certification. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as being a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He has been Chairman of the department of oral & maxillofacial surgery and on several hospital committees in the Charlotte region. Currently, he is on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Institute of Medicine, a position appointed by Governor Pat McCrory. Dr. Haigney is also a faculty member at the world-renowned Pikos Institute.
