Dr. Khanuja has completed extensive training to achieve excellence in the fields of Oral, Facial Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgery. She completed her residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland Ohio.  She also completed international surgical rotations in facial and reconstructive surgery in Europe and India. Dr. Khanuja is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and  a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. A resident of Ohio for most of her life, she has been in private practice for over 20 years and we have been in the Independence location for over 10 years.

Dr. Khanuja practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to facial cosmetic procedures. We perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.

I was so nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out that I put it off for years. Dr. Khanuja and her staff listened to all of my concerns and made sure I had the best experience possible! The surgery went smoothly and I had a very fast recovery with no swelling. They even gave me a little gift card to get coffee 🥺 Would recommend to anyone, especially if you are anxious!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars! I had an excellent experience with Dr. Khanuja and her outstanding team. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and very efficient. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of oral surgery. They combine expertise with compassion, and you can tell they truly care about their patients.

If I could give no stars, I would. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They were able to get my husband in quickly for a simple tooth removal in March and that should’ve been my first red flag considering all other places we’re booking a month+ out. They charged $450 for a single tooth removal yet they assured me I would receive a check from them once everything cleared with insurance. Well here we are in June and nothing. My husband was not even numb when they began extracting his tooth and was screaming. They were holding him down and said to just get it over with. They then proceeded to stick the suture hook thru his lip. Like what? Terrible terrible terrible. DO NOT GO HERE.

As far as tooth extractions go, I had about as good of an experience as one could have. Since I just had knee replacement surgery three weeks prior, my tooth infection required ASAP attention. So once Dr. Khanuja's staff got me on the list, they then bumped me up twice as appts were cancelled and earlier slots became available. That alone was very much appreciated. The extraction itself was quick and painless, and everyone there was pleasant. Overall a very positive experience :)

Dr. Khanuja was incredible! I needed my wisdom teeth removed quickly due to some minor complications, and she and her team went above and beyond to accommodate me. Dr. Khanuja made me feel completely at ease, always encouraging my questions and answering them with kindness and patience. She truly prioritized my comfort throughout the entire process and my recovery was seamless. Plus, Hannah at the front desk was fantastic! I highly recommend their office.
