Dr. Joyce Chen is amazing. When our son was born with skin tags by his ear. We decided to look into surgical treatment options to remove the extra skin in the hopes that we could have the procedure done while he was an infant, thereby decreasing the general anesthetic route and risks. We tried in vain to obtain services through many pediatricians. They wanted us to wait until he was older and could undergo general anesthesia for the surgical removal of the skin tags. With how the world is today and the bullying we did not want our child to be of school age undergoing this procedure. We were turned down many times by different Dermatologist. Through yelp and google we found Dr. Joyce Chen. She agreed whole-heartedly with our concerns. She has wonderful bedside manner, which is difficult to come by these days. Her office staff is also very kind. Through her many years of experience she routinely performs local anesthetic procedures on infants to surgically remove and or treat congenital conditions. She gave us the treatment plan and was able to perform the surgery. She did a great job! Our child did very well with the procedure, it did not take her long and he had no pain after the surgery. Being that he was an infant, he never touched the surgery site and this allowed for proper healing. She included all the follow-up exams in her packaged price which was very reasonable for out-of-pocket costs. We are very thankful to have found Dr. Joyce Chen, we strongly recommend her for any pediatric surgical need.

From the first day I met Dr. Chen I felt very comfortable in her knowledge of plastic surgery. I did a lot of research before I picked going to Dr. Chen. She was always very straight with her answers, explained to me what she thought was best for me and talked myself and my husband through every step of my procedure. I had a breast augmentation, breast lift, extended tummy tuck and lipo in my stomach and back. The day of surgery I was very nervous, the nurse at the surgical center were so nice and praised Dr. Chen as much as I did. When Dr. Chen arrived, she made me feel at ease. I am currently almost 8 weeks post op and I have NO REGRETS! If I were to do it again, I would a thousand times with Dr. Chen. After surgery, she contacted me at home to make sure I was doing well, gave me a number to contact her if I had any concerns. She always answered and was always so reassuring. I can't express how thankful I am to have found her. My body is still changing, but boy what a change it has been. Thank you, Dr. Chen, for making me smile again and being confident in my appearance again.

Dr. Chen is great. I got a breast reduction and the results are amazing. My life is changed to the better because of her. She cares so much about her patients and making them as satisfied as possible with the results. She is a hard worker and someone who is very passionate about what she does so you can be sure that she will do her absolute best to get you the results you want, if not better. 100% recommend her.

They would check in to ensure that I was healing well. I had multiple follow-up appointments with Dr. Chen and she always answered my questions. They were always there whenever I had any concerns and helped me feel confident regarding the surgery and healing process.

Dr. Chen is amazing! She was my first consult and I immediately decided she'd be my surgeon. Her expertise and knowledge sold me. She's thorough and spends the time with you to feel at ease with any questions or concerns. I had a mommy makeover and the surgery went really well.
