Originally from the mountains of Western NC, Dr. Keener received her medical degree at James H Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN 2004, graduating in the top 10 of her class.

She went on to East Tennessee State University to successfully complete a 5-year general surgery residency, with a year of academic research with the ETSU Surgery Department. She studied burns and plastic surgery practices in Turin, Italy.

She ultimately became Board Certified in General Surgery, and then Dr. Keener completed a 3-year fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of Florida. She fell in love with Florida and pursued her career in North Florida.

Throughout her training and career, she has worked in emergency rooms as an ER physician. She has a unique ability to treat a wide variety of diseases and emergencies with skill and confidence.

Dr. Keener has over 15 years of surgical experience and over 10 years of aesthetic and plastic surgery experience. She has been injecting for over 10 years and enjoys enhancing her patients’ appearances to renew confidence and well-being. She has recently created a niche to provide minimally invasive cosmetic/aesthetic surgery to her patients with little downtime and maximal results.

She is a mom and grandmother, and she enjoys the beach, traveling, drawing, music, and her patients.
