Peter Vitulli, Jr., D.O., F.A.O.C.D., F.A.A.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and a board-certified Mohs surgeon with an extensive multidisciplinary medical background and decades of general and surgical dermatology experience. His uncompromising standards of practicing medicine, meticulous treatment protocols and technical expertise coupled with unparalleled warmth have earned him a reputation of one of the premier dermatologists in the area.
Dr. Vitulli earned his medical degree at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of Nova SouthEastern University, followed by a rotating internship in internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology; a residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in preventative medicine and cardiology at the University of Tennessee. Afterwards Dr. Vitulli returned to South Florida to attend a dermatology residency program at Nova SouthEastern University.
Dr. Vitulli’s expertise extends to all spheres of adult and pediatric dermatology – medical, surgical and cosmetic, offering comprehensive treatment solutions for an entire spectrum of skin conditions, interdisciplinary approach to diagnosing, and impeccable follow-up care. Dr. Vitulli is especially passionate about management of skin cancer. “A Center for Dermatology, Cosmetic and Laser Surgery” is a state-of-the-art, full-service skin cancer treatment facility. Dr. Vitulli offers his experience and expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery, Mohs reconstruction, SRT (Superficial Radiation Therapy), and non-surgical skin cancer treatments. Dr. Vitulli achieved the highest qualification degree of a Mohs surgeon having been awarded Board Certification in Mohs Micrographic Surgery by The American Osteopathic Association. Prior to establishing his private practice Dr. Vitulli worked primarily as a Mohs surgeon: he has performed over 14,000 of Mohs surgeries and around 30,000 of skin surgeries and a vast array of advanced reconstructions, handling everything from challenging tumor locations to rare tumor pathology and most complex wound reconstructions.
