Total waste of time and money. Just use ChatGPT if you need advice, because that's all he gave. I currently have hand weakness/pain/pins and needles and recently had trigger finger that healed just days before my appointment, exacerbated by hand overuse. I was diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel in 2014 through an EMG, but he dismissed this diagnosis despite my symptoms. He had a pamphlet he was going to give me on carpal tunnel but said he wouldn't because he didn't think that was my problem. No tests were done; he just moved my hands around which did have an effect on me causing tingling in my right hand which is what he was looking for! I will gladly send over my previous test results to show him my carpal tunnel diagnoses made by a NEUROLOGIST since he doubted me. He claimed my fingers locking while typing is normal as well—I'm 32, it's not. When I told him I could no longer do certain movements with my right hand since the overuse, he questioned if I could do them before. Of course I could, obviously. Shows he wasn't taking me seriously. I've worked alongside MDs who perform surgeries as their right hand man for many years, and the way he handled my appointment was simply lazy. How can you rule out a diagnoses without proper testing? He was writing things down that i was saying on a piece of ripped up paper. Did that get put into my chart or thrown in the trash? He literally just looked at my hands—LOL. I guess you still need a proper CPT/ICD-10 code for billing and an educated guess that cost me almost $100 because I bought his overpriced Hely and Weber wrist brace, which is about $25 cheaper online. He conveniently forgot to mention that when i asked for his recommendation on a brace. Believe the comments when they say this doctor is arrogant. I will be seeing a neurologist and if its ever confirmed that i need something done i will not be going back to this Doctor. Thanks for the B12 recommendation doc!

I was looking forward to meeting with Dr. Das but was utterly disappointed. He met with me for less than 20 minutes and offered few remedies to help me with the arthritis in my hands. He suggested using glucosamine, which I read in the Arthritis Foundation is not even recommended for osteoarthritis and can cause adverse reactions. I was frustrated by the level of indifference he showed me; his bedside manner convinced me he could not have cared less about me as a human being. I have seen a multitude of doctors for the arthritis in my hands; all have said there is not much they can do, but Dr. Das is the only one who has been blatantly uncaring and showed zero compassion for me. He gave me a stupid pamphlet and rushed me out the door. I tore it up in the garage and let it blow away in the garage. I regret making the drive to Katy and wasting my time meeting with Dr. Das.

I have visited Dr Das three times over the last couple years and highly recommend him. I had a broken thumb and a few trigger fingers. His manner puts you at ease and he explains everything thoroughly removing any anxiety. I could not be happier with his approach, and the results.

I had to see Dr. Das due to an injury and he was able to correct my hand. I was pleased with all aspects of the procedure. Dr. Das explained everything and was happy to answer my questions. The procedure went as expected and I was able to heal in a shorter time than anticipated. Follow up appointments were a breeze, I could get them to fit into my lunch breaks. Excellent service, I would definitely recommend Dr. Das to a friend or family member.

I highly recommend The Hand and Plastic Surgery Center of Katy to anyone looking for the right hand and plastic surgeon! First off, they have a quick scheduling process, it doesn't take weeks to get an appointment. Secondly, the quality of attention and care given is incredible. Laura, at the front desk, truly cares for Dr. Das's patients! She follows up, calls back, and updates you constantly. Dr. Das is very patient, enthusiastic, and informative! He keeps you informed and aware every step of the way.
