Catherine McGeeDr

Dr. Catherine McGee, MD, FACS graduated valedictorian from Church Point High School. She then attended LSU-Eunice and completed her undergraduate studies at LSU in Baton Rouge, graduating among the top of her class, Sum Cum Laude. She earned her medical degree at LSU in New Orleans. She then completed a five-year General Surgery residency at LSU in New Orleans. She pursued a Plastic Surgery fellowship during her extensive surgical training at LSU. She completed a three-year Plastic and Reconstructive fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She gained experience in both reconstructive surgery and aesthetic surgery. She then obtained additional training in Microsurgery Reconstruction at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She returns to Louisiana to begin her practice, helping residents of Lafayette and surrounding areas to achieve their aesthetic goals.

She is an active member of American Society of Plastic Surgery. She is a candidate member of American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and American Medical Society.
