A native of South Louisiana, Dr. Kenneth Odinet spent many years in training around the country before returning home to offer innovative, state-of-the-art care. Dr. Odinet received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in 1988 and completed his residencies in both otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) and plastic surgery in 1995.

His extensive training continued … first in aesthetic plastic surgery at Lenox Hospital in New York City, then as a fellow in craniofacial (facial and skeletal) and orthognathic (jaw) surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his dental degree from LSU and was a practicing pediatric dentist while in medical school.

Dr. Odinet’s combined advanced training makes him uniquely qualified to ensure that your plastic surgery options function as well as they look. Currently, he is the only plastic surgeon in Acadiana board certified in ear, nose, and throat (head and neck) surgery, and plastic and reconstructive surgery. With his combined background in dentistry and plastic surgery, Dr. Odinet can offer you a wide range of plastic and reconstructive surgery options.

Dr. Odinet is a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Board of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, American Board of Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery), and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Odinet stays abreast of all current trends and techniques in plastic surgery. He has published and presented numerous papers in his field and was honored in 1994 with a governor’s commendation. Dr. Odinet currently serves on the board at Park Place Surgical Hospital and is a co-founder of Breast Cancer Specialists of Louisiana. He is a past board member of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and a past president/founding member of Park Place Surgical Hospital.

Because confidentiality and privacy are so important to many of his patients, Dr. Odinet offers a private AAAASF accredited Ambulatory Surgical Center at the Beaullieu Drive location in Lafayette, LA.

When you hear the phrase “EXPERIENCE MATTERS”… Believe it 100%. Dr Odinet gave me his full attention and really listened while I explained the why’s and what’s of what I was trying to achieve. He then addressed all of my concerns regarding surgery before I could even get to my own list of questions . It was refreshing to know that HIS main priorities such as my safety, realistic expectations post surgery, benefits vs risks, and explaining what to expect from beginning to end aligned with MY main priorities as well. His staff was so friendly and helpful which reassured me that these women love their job and what they do. (Which is very rare these days). I am only a week out post surgery but I knew at day 4 that I would do it again in a heartbeat. His 30 years of experience speaks volumes in ALL the ways. Looking forward to the rest of the journey with this amazing team.

I’ve had a breast reduction with Dr. Odinet that came out just as I wanted. Him and the entire staff have been nothing but friendly and accommodating. I also do laser with Aubrey on the med spa side and she is passionate about the work she does. She listened to all my concerns and made sure to go over the process and what to expect. I do injections with Lauren now, and she is also super friendly. She went over the different price options with me, what areas I was most concerned about, and came up with the most affordable solution for what I wanted. I always leave the office feeling great about my treatments.

Dr. Odinet and his staff are by far the absolute best. Even after moving hours away, I will never see another surgeon of his kind or go anywhere else for skin care, etc. They treat you like you’re the only person there and the love from his staff is like no other. Dr. Odinet’s work is phenomenal and their emphasis on high quality customer service is apparent from the moment you walk through the door. Staff is amazing - very responsive to questions ahead of procedures, as well as providing exceptional support and care before, during, and after. Having the option of scheduling surgery in his on-site suite was another positive, with wait time prior to the procedure very minimal. Overall, great experience and beautiful work (breast reduction).
