Horrible! I paid 20k for a botched job. Severe scarring, and deadly fungal infection. I had plastic surgery by Dr Mowlavi aka Dr Laguna two years ago. Immediately, fungus started to grow on my incisions. Dr. Mowlavi decided to cut my skin to get rid of the fungus. Basically, he butchered me. It gets worse! The fungal infection spread and I was recently diagnosed with MRSA. Google this doctor, before choosing him to perform any surgery on you. I wish I never walked into his office!

Next week I am having the BOTCHED liposuction performed by Dr. Molavi on my abdomen fixed. Another $10 k down the drain. Run for the hills! This doctor is sloppy and has NO integrity. When I originally told him about the uneven contour on my stomach, he wanted to argue semantics because I called it “mottled”. He did not offer to rectify my horribly unsatisfactory results. Going to him was one of the biggest mistakes of my life!

Got implants out and a lift. Dr Mowlavi has NO bedside manner to say the least. He is very much a salesman telling you all that needs to be lifted, sucked & tucked, way beyond what you came there for. My results after surgery didn’t come out well and I wouldn’t go back to him, neither would I recommend him to anyone else! My stitches came out and i had a deep opening/hole the size of a pencil eraser in my breast. I called his office and he took 4 days to call me back about the issue. Is advice was to just keep it clean and covered. Needless to say it did not heal correctly and now has a deformity there. I’m lucky I didn’t get an infection or worse!! I am now in the process of looking for yet another Dr to fix this botched job. Also one breast is a size smaller & lower than the other. I also got legal paperwork from a lawyer while still under his care that he filed bankruptcy😳 My suggestion is to steer clear of this Dr.

Dr. Mowlavi and his staff are amazing. When I came in for my first consultation he was just on point and understood what I wanted and visualized how I would look. I still had my doubts so I came for a second consultation and he just made me feel that the decision I was making was just right. After surgery the care and the whole process recovery has been amazing. Planning everything accordingly and setting appointments has worked with my schedule and just a overall amazing experience. My friends and family are excited and looking forward to seeing my results and set up there consultation with him.

I love this office! All of the employees have been extremely sweet and answer any question you may have. Claudia and James are amazingly helpful and I came from out of town so they made the whole trip super easy to plan. Dr. Mowlavi makes a great connection with his patients while also being extremely professional! I felt very comfortable before the surgery because of the constant attention they all provide here. Dr. Mowlavi really held my hand throughout the surgery and made me forget any fears I had prior to the surgery. He is an incredible surgeon and an incredible person! The post-operative care was great and I highly recommend the after-care. The massages are also a life-saver (and it's great that they are included in your fee upfront, some offices don't do that!). I did a ton of research and he was incredibly fair with his pricing and his results are unmatched! I feel much better after every visit to this office and cannot recommend it enough.
