Alexander P. Moya, M.D. is a board-certified plastic surgeon who is an active participant in the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Maintenance of Certification Program™ (Plastic Surgery), a select group of physicians whose members demonstrate a commitment to ongoing self-assessment and lifelong learning to continually improve their patient care and achieve improved clinical outcomes. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) as well as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), a select group of plastic surgeons who have attained high levels of achievement in cosmetic surgery training, education, and experience, and is also a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

Dr. Moya is actively involved in teaching his surgical techniques to his colleagues as an invited speaker and/or course instructor at both ASPS- and ASAPS-sponsored conferences. As a long-time medical consultant for Ethicon, Inc. (a Johnson & Johnson company), and having incorporated their innovative technologies (HARMONIC® Ultrasonic Devices, STRATAFIX™ Knotless Tissue Control Devices) into his practice, he is also able to share his expertise on the benefits of their utilization.
