If surgery can be a great experience, then this was one. Dr. Patel and his team are very caring and professional. This goes for the team in his office to his OR team. I had a Revision of Nasal Septum surgery that I had over 30 years ago. My experience after the first surgery was not as pleasant and I was expecting this one to be as bad. Dr. Patel did a great job. I had no bruising and some swelling, which is expected. I was able to resume my daily morning walk the next day. His staff checked on me every couple of days after surgery to make sure I was doing ok. They were always there if I needed them. I just saw Dr. Patel today and he is pleased with my progress. I will see him again in a few months, as a follow-up, but I feel fine. I would recommend Dr. Patel and his team to anyone that needs Nasal surgery. Does great work and is very caring about his patients.

I had very bad damage above and below my eyes from decades of Allergies, Sinus infections that severely stretched out my skin causing severe swelling above my eyes and up to three bags and saggy under my eyes. I was so unhappy with my face, it looked horrible!! Being a very fit and active 60 year old who feels much younger than my appearance I began looking into getting my upper and lower eyes to look natural and youthful again. This desire and research led me to Dr. Amit Patel. I didn't want the fake Hollyweird surgery looking fake and not myself and when first meeting Dr. Patel I was immediately impressed with this person. He explained in detail what and how to repair my concerns, what he saw was necessary to achieve my needs to look youthful once again. After a few office visits the plan was set, upper and lower blepharoplasty, outer brow lift with fat transfer and he added fat to my Pre Jowl area with a little lipo at the Jowl. Back in January i had surgery to fix my breathing because my sister had broke my nose and i had a deviated septum. I scheduled the consultation myself with Dr.Patel and he explained what was wrong and how to fix it, so i eventually scheduled my surgery for January of this year. Right before my surgery Dr.Patel called me himself to tell me what time he would like me to arrive to the hospital, ive never had a doctor do this before and ive had surgery at a different hospital for a different issue before so it showed he actually cared. The day of surgery the whole team was amazing they actually cared about me the patient and nothing was done without me knowing. From the nurses to the anesthesia team everybody was so thorough with questions to make sure i had the best care possible. Dr.Patel even came in himself to explain how he was going to fix my nose so i could breathe again, he was not in a rush or anything so it made me feel better about having surgery. During my recovery his team texted me daily checking on me and having me send pictures so they could see how i was healing and how my pain was, ive never had that before so it was nice knowing they care about the patients recovery and dont just wait to see you in office. If i had any concerns i was able to talk to someone who re assured me everything was normal, they even offered to let me come in a few days before my appointment to be suctioned out but i chose to wait for my appointment. Recovery wasnt even bad i only had to take pain medicine the day of after i got home, and the fact you leave with your medicine vs other hospitals where you have to go to your home pharmacy to get your medicine was amazing. The little band thing i had to wear to keep the gauze on my nose started to rub my face so i just carried around tissues. The removal of the top 2 stents and the suctioning wasnt the best feeling but it wasnt horrible it was more just a awkward uncomfortable feeling but it was totally worth it after i realized i could finally breathe again. Normally by now i would have had multiple sinus infections but i have only had 2 and my breathing has improved so much, i dont feel stopped up like i used to. 10000/10 would recommend having surgery with Dr.Patel and his UK team it was the best decision ever and i will forever now have any surgery at UK.

From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Patel and his staff was exceptional. I needed an upper blepharoplasty to improve my vision, and I was given the option of having the procedure at the hospital or in Dr. Patel’s office. I knew I wanted to avoid anesthesia, so the opportunity to have the procedure in the office was appealing to me. It was an easy and painless process, and my recovery has been completely free of discomfort. I am pleased with the result and am grateful to Dr. Patel and his staff for making the experience stress-free from start to finish.
