​Dr. Alkon is a plastic surgeon board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He specializes in cosmetic surgery of the breast, and body. He has dedicated his education and efforts towards achieving this distinction. His accomplishments have earned him the title of Chief of Plastic Surgery at Trinitas Hospital, in New Jersey.

A native of Boston, he received his undergraduate education with honors from Brandeis University. While there, he was invited to join the Phi Alpha Theta International Honor Society. His medical education remained in Boston where he graduated with honors from Boston University School of Medicine. He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, an honor only bestowed upon the top graduating students from all medical schools in America.

Chosen as one of only two physicians in the nation from hundreds of applicants, he immediately began formal surgical training in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Training Program in Rochester, New York, at Strong-Memorial Hospital / The University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Alkon’s plastic surgical research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications, and he has been invited to lecture nationally on Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
