This is long, but also long overdue and difficult for me to publicly post. If you know me, you know🫣🤦🏼♀️ So, here's my story... Doctor Tutela knew exactly what I wanted and needed better than I did. Most importantly, He knows how to deliver outstanding results! He patiently and calmly sorted through all of MY confused and half informed fears. He diagnosed my capsular contraction condition, which I unknowingly struggled with silently for far too many years. This condition affected me both physically and mentally, due to the physical deformity from the condition. With skill and grace, He labored through an almost 5 hour extremely detailed Capsulectomy, Mastopexy, with Complete Breast Reconstruction Surgery. It was very difficult for me to "trust the process", that's not something I do well. I was pretty terrified, but I knew that I had chosen the right Doctor at that moment I told him that I knew it had to be done, but I was scared of this procedure, and what I would be left with at the end. He quietly, calmly and confidently replied, " Well, I'm not scared, it's going to be great!" I put all trust and faith in him and said let's do this! Dr Tutela is a true master of his craft. He sculpted me the most amazingly perfect and natural results tailored just to me, my body and my goal. I'm in awe of the intensity in his talent. To my surprise, I recovered virtually pain free. He has a great bedside manor, which is much appreciated during these stressful times. He was totally accessible to me, as he is to all of his Patients, God forbid any emergency should arise following surgery. Yet he is still so chill and so humble at the same time, simply referring to himself as John Paul Tutela. As if he is not Dr. Tutela, truly one of, if not the best Plastic Surgeon I've ever had the privilege to meet. I feel fortunate to have been treated by Him. I am very confident recommending him to ANYONE, in need of ANY PROCEDURE within the vast scope of work he performs. On more than one occasion, He has said to me, No, You don't need that procedure and why. This honesty, today is so refreshing. You want Him and his Amazing Staff on your Team. I will continue to untrust him with my future esthetic and surgical needs. From the bottom of my heart, I cant thank you enough Dr Tutela for restoring my self confidence. ☺️❤️👏🏼🔥😎

Dr. Tutela changed my life as a breast cancer survivor! I had extremely aggressive breast cancer and needed a mastectomy on one breast and a lumpectomy on the other which I got done at Memorial Sloan Kettering. After surgery and treatment MSK performed breast reconstruction and I was left extremely disappointed. My body didn't even look like my own and the MSK plastic surgeon had given me a breast reduction when I did not ask for one. I had asked different plastic surgeons if they would take me as a patient to correct my reconstruction and none of them were up to the challenge of making my breasts the correct size or symmetrical again. After speaking with Dr. Tutela, he said he would be more than happy to help me and even though it would be a difficult surgery he knew he could do it. Now one year later I am happier than ever with my body after enduring such a horrific life change. Dr Tutela brought my confidence back and even helped me with the scar maintenance after the surgery so that my body looks more like it always had before the cancer disrupted my life. I loved having Dr. Tutela as my surgeon. His staff was amazing as well!! I had to have a reconstruction surgery for my breast after beating Breast Cancer. He made me feel so comfortable and my recovery was way easier than previous surgeries. He was available on call whenever I needed him after my surgery. From all the doctors I dealt with with my cancer journey, he was the kindest and attentive to detail. So happy I got to meet him!
