Dr. Kayvan Fathimani is the founder and director of Rocky Mountain Surgical Arts. He is a fellowship-trained and triple board certified Oral and Maxillofacial and Facial Cosmetic Surgeon. He is just one of the few Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in the United States who has exceptional expertise in complex oral and maxillofacial surgeries. As part of his commitment to quality, he utilizes cutting-edge technology and advanced pre-surgical planning. He takes an innovative approach when treating his patients and managing their oral, maxillofacial, and facial cosmetic concerns.

Dr. Fathimani graduated at the top of his class from the University of Toronto, School of Dentistry. He went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Fathimani spent the first seven years of his career in New York City as one of the leading reconstructive maxillofacial and facial trauma surgeons. With his special interest in facial surgery and academic residency education, Dr. Fathimani became a prominent maxillofacial and trauma surgeon at multiple hospitals in New York City, including one of the busiest Level 1 trauma centers in the United States where he was the assistant program director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dedicated to excellence, Dr. Fathimani also completed a highly competitive fellowship in Facial Cosmetic Surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.

He is a recognized leader in his field, having authored multiple international journals and textbook chapters as well as having spoken at national conferences. Dr. Fathimani is also a board examiner with the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, ensuring candidates practicing facial cosmetic surgery have the sufficient clinical and didactic competency levels. He takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care while adhering to the utmost safety standards. His breathtaking surgical suite has multiple surgical rooms, a private aesthetic center, and an expertly equipped operating room. He also has staffing privileges at Sky Ridge Medical Center, located just across the street for ease and comfort to his patients that require a more complex or acute level of care.
