I had surgery with Dr Lorenzo and I can’t be any more happy! He did both of my cataracts and I see so clear! The best I’ve seen in years. I highly recommend Dr Lorenzo and his assistant Bryan and Narong. The office is also very organized. My life has been changed because of how well I see. Thank you Dr Lorenzo!!

Terrible customer service. The billing department didn't know to do a preauthorization before my office visit. This caused me to be at the office for several hours. They argued with me stating my insurance doesn't cover certain care. I continually told them their doing something wrong, because my insurance covers everything. I had to call my insurance while on speaker phone. The insurance told them their wrong and explained to the billing department how to do their job. The billing department never appologized for her mistake. Infact, she had an attitude after that. The optometrist had an assistant put eye drops in my eyes and test them. Why isnt the optomotrist doing this?? Why are they allowing an assistant to do this? No assistant, should be touching my eyes, or putting drops in them. My appointment was with an optometrist and opthomologist. The optometrist didnt trust the assistant readings for the glaucoma test that she had her give me. Therefore, the optometrist had to test my eyes again and put in more eyedrops. I had three sets total of eyedrops. This made my eyes extremely numb. I've never had that many eyedrops put in my eyes at an optometrist office. They told me it would wear off. But, it didn't everything was blurry. I couldn't see driving on the way home everything foggy and bright. I was so scared driving home. I will never give my business to this place again. So unprofessional.

Love the doctors there but the front desk is a mess. I called to let them know the prescription Dr Tran gave me was good and could I have it in writing when I go to see Dr Martinez and they completely missed that up. I even was on hold while she confirmed it's all fine and I can pick it up and then they left me a message saying do you want to confirm those contacts. I also asked if I could have another strip of my regular daily wear because I'm going to run out before the ones come and they will not give out anymore. Mia also got that wrong I did not ask for the expensive multifocal contacts just the regular one day because my contacts won't come for 7 to 10 days and her messages we don't have any more of the multifocals to give you. Clearly they do have another strip they are seeing patients everyday try and contacts on. However I didn't ask for multifocals I asked for more regular daily wear. I don't know what's wrong with the front office but the doctors are good but I don't think I can take it again next year dealing with these people.

I went to my regular optometrist to get my presciption updated as I really couldn't see that well anymore. He told me I had a cataract and said he couldn't write a prescription that would get my vision any better. I called my PCP (Dr. Chloe Su of Memorial Care, who is great too!) and she referred me to Eye Physicians of Long Beach. I called them and they gave me an appointment with Dr. Lorenzo the following week. I was expecting to wait at least a month to see a doctor. Dr. Lorenzo and his team were super professional and caring. They scheduled my surgery for the following week! Dr. Lorenzo was awesome throughout the procedure and exceeded all my expectations. Now that the surgery is over, my vision in that eye is better than 20/20! I haven't see this well in years! Thank you Dr. Lorenzo and your awesome team for my vision! I couldn't be happier with the results!

I recently came in as I was referred by my PCP for a pretty bad eye infection. I initially saw a doctor on Friday, Jan 3rd and he was able to immediately get me in that following Monday, Jan 13th. Even though the next provider I would be seeing that Monday had a full schedule, I was still able to get in. The staff and Dr. Ghafouri were SO great! The doctor was very fast & efficient while doing the procedure on my eye. I was very nervous but the staff was wonderful & took care of me. I will be coming back forsure!
