After her academic training, Dr. Ran completed her internship and residency in general surgery and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. She further specialized in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Corey S. Maas, president-elect of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), and Dr. David W. Kim.
