Dr. Sean Maguire grew up in the Southwest and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. He attended University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991. While in medical school he was awarded The Merck Manual prize for academic achievement and the George Udhe award in head and neck surgery.  He was also elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious medical honor society.

Dr. Maguire completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at University of Louisville, becoming chief resident in 1996 and board-certified in that specialty in 1997. He completed a residency in Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at University of Cincinnati in 1998, passing both written and oral board exams in 2002. In 2002 Dr. Maguire did a fellowship in aesthetic and laser surgery with Dr. S. Larry Schlesinger in Maui, Hawaii.

In addition to acquiring extensive clinical experience in plastic surgery, Dr. Maguire has published numerous scientific articles, book chapters and research papers. Recently he contributed to important research on face transplantation with University of Louisville School of Medicine scientists. He is on the scientific advisory board for Suneva Medical, a member of the national speaker’s panel for SkinMedica, and is certified by Allergan as a Platinum-Plus provider of Botox.

Dr. Maguire has a passion for aesthetic plastic surgery with special expertise in facial cosmetic procedures. A natural, non-surgical look is his goal for patients to look their best without the appearance of having surgery.  He prides himself on his attention to detail and providing the highest level of care to his patients.
