I received my medical degree from Columbia University in New York and completed five years of general surgery training at Mary Bassett Hospital, Columbia University, Cooperstown, New York. I completed a two year plastic surgery residency at Wright State University, Kettering Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio. I am board certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery; a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, member of the  American Society of Plastic Surgeons and fellow of the American College of Surgeons

My specialty is plastic and reconstructive surgery. This field involves the surgical and non­ surgical therapy of a wide spectrum of problems including, but not limited to; reconstruction of both accidental and surgical wounds, breast reconstruction, pressure sores, skin cancers and moles, burns, facial and jaw fractures, and congenital head and neck deformities. Cosmetic surgery of the face, neck, trunk, breasts and extremities is a part of my specialty as well.
