Dr. Paul McCluskey is the founder and owner of the Plastic Surgery Institute of Atlanta. He specializes in aesthetic/cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, nose, breast and body. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He then received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi and completed an internship in Anesthesiology.
It was during his internship that Dr. McCluskey was inspired to drastically change his career path. His mother underwent a mastectomy for breast cancer with reconstructive breast surgery. The reconstruction played a huge role in her recovery from this devastating diagnosis. Dr. McCluskey sought to learn more about breast reconstruction surgery and he helped lead ongoing research projects with Drs John McCraw, and Bill Lineaweaver in the Plastic Surgery division at University of Mississippi

Dec 31, 2024Stepping into Dr. Paul McCluskey's office immediately put me at ease. The receptionist was so friendly, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. Dr. McCluskey was approachable and genuinely listened to my concerns about my body. He took the time to clearly explain the liposuction procedure, ensuring I understood every step. On the day of the procedure, the nurses were exceptional—kind, supportive, and reassuring. Dr. McCluskey performed the surgery with great skill, and the follow-up care was outstanding. The clinic staff regularly checked in on my recovery, offering helpful advice and encouragement. I feel so much more confident in my body, and I would highly recommend Dr. McCluskey to anyone considering liposuction or any other cosmetic procedure.

Apr 2, 2024I chose Dr. Paul McCluskey for my implant removal surgery, and it was worth every mile traveled. Dr. McCluskey and his team are exceptional. Dealing with breast implant illness, finding a surgeon who believes in it was crucial. Dr. McCluskey listened attentively, ensuring I felt supported. Jul 11, 2023I wish that I could say that I've had a positive experience with Dr. McCluskey, but I don't have an experience to share, and that's the problem. In mid-June, I sent an inquiry to Dr. McCluskey's office via their webpage to talk about surgery options. I was scheduled for a virtual consult, sent all of my pictures, and had a consult with both Laura and Dr McCluskey on June 23. Everything went great (I thought)! Dr. McCluskey, Laura, and I talked about sports, life, and what I was trying to accomplish with this surgery. They agreed to get back to me before the holiday. I waited and waited. I called back to follow up on 4 different occasions to get a quote for my procedures. Each time I was promised an email from Laura that never arrived. The last time, July 6th, I was told that my phone call would be flagged as a priority and I would get a quote today. Nothing has arrived. I chose Dr. McCluskey because I'd never heard a complaint and all of his previous patients speak highly of him. I guess I will never know.

Jun 12, 2023I just had en bloc implant removal with a reconstructive lift five days ago. I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t needed any pain medication at all. I was nervous the first time I removed my bandages but I was relieved and happy with the immediate results. Dr. McClusky and his staff have been fantastic throughout the process. If you are even thinking about removing your implants, at least go talk to Dr. McClusky. I’m so glad I did!

Dec 18, 2021After doing some extensive research on a Plastic Surgeon here In Atlanta, I came across Dr. Paul McCluskey and his wonderful Team. After Dr. McCluskey examined my pics he explained to me what type of procedure he recommends for the results that I was looking for. I'm soooo Happy with my RESULTS from a Tummy Tuck MR and Lipo on Flanks. I am currently 7 weeks PO.. Healing is great. Scar is minimal.. My tummy is Flat a little swollen but Flat! I would give him 10 stars. Laura, Maria and Staff were Wonderful. Office is A Safe Haven felt right at Home! Dr. MCCluskey is your Guy DO IT!! You will not regret it! Thank you All!!
