His practice is located in Marysville, OH where he specializes in all aspects of reconstructive and aesthetic surgery as well as non-surgical therapies. He combines excellent training with a caring bedside manner and offers up-to-date minimally invasive procedures for facial rejuvenation, laser technology, and cosmetic surgery. He graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL and received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and his plastic surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University where he remained on faculty from 2016 through 2021.
His specific interests also include developing plastic surgery opportunities among underserved populations, working to build international opportunities and surgical training in Africa through the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons.
Dr. Poteet resides with his wife Tiffany and their three daughters in Central Ohio. He most enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his church, working outdoors, and playing music.
