Dr. Wirtz, a Cleveland Native, is a relatively new addition to the Cleveland Plastic Surgery Institute team. Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, she joins us with over 6 years of experience in Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery. She offers a broad range of surgical and non-surgical procedures including facial rejuvenation, facial contouring, breast surgery, body contouring, and gender affirmation.

Education

Dr. Wirtz graduated from the Laurel School, and then continued her studies at Northwestern University. She attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University. Then went on to complete a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill and an American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)-endorsed Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at Hunstand/Kortessis/Bharti Cosmetic Surgery, a group practice in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Dr. Wirtz’ career has been driven by a pursuit of excellence in patient care and innovation in plastic surgery techniques. She has published several articles, and presented at national plastic surgery meetings. Dr. Wirtz truly believes that aesthetic and reconstructive surgery are two sides of the same coin and strives to restore her patients’ sense of wholeness and confidence.
