I had breast lift & augmentation surgery with Dr. Grunwaldt in March 2025 and I couldn’t be happier! This was something that I had considered for some time so I had done a good bit of research & even met with other surgeons. Part of why I’m writing this review is because reviews are what led me to connect with Dr. Grunwaldt, so I hope this helps someone else! Dr Grunwaldt was fantastic! So nice & personable. Ready and able to answer any questions that you have. And I did not once feel rushed, by her or the office staff. What I especially loved was that she didn’t push me in a direction (like, go bigger/smaller, etc.). I had an idea of what I wanted and she figured out how to get me there. While I had considered this type of surgery for a few years, two factors made this the right time. I’m over 50 & we women know the toll that takes on one’s body! I also recently lost almost 100 lbs. The combo is those 2 things made my breasts feel & look like partially deflated water balloons! For those reasons I had to have a lift before adding any volume. I’ll be honest, I was worried. The worst scars I had seen online were from breast lifts. But I’m here to tell you…follow the doctor’s instructions post-surgery and you’ll be so happy! All that I did was follow the instructions re: the surgical bra, sleeping position, and bandages. It hasn’t even been 3 months and my scars are gone or very minimal. I also used Bio-Oil to massage the scars when it was ok to do that. Let’s backtrack…all of the office staff were incredible! Just lovely to deal with. The office is clean & inviting. Dr. G was amazing from start to finish! She noted that I had 2 different size breasts & adjusted the augmentation to even everything out. I felt very confident in her plan and her abilities. When she says she’s a perfectionist, believe her! Everyone at the surgery center was fabulous as well! I had to wait a bit (things happen) and they were so attentive…and funny! We spent most of the wait time laughing at each other & just random stupidity. Even if you’re super comfortable having this type of surgery, having folks to help ease even the tiniest anxiety is invaluable! Last but not least, I’m thrilled with the results!! I didn’t go any bigger, just lifted, shaped, added volume. I’m about a 34DD which works for me! Everything looks and feels great! I wouldn’t hesitate to use Dr. Grunwaldt if I have cosmetic surgery needs in the future. One last thing that made me super comfortable with the doc and the practice…I have a trusted friend who used to be “in plastics” (as she puts it) and everything that she said I should have (lift, under muscle, saline) is what Dr. Grunwaldt suggested and did! Thank you Dr. Grunwaldt!!

Dr. Grunwaldt and her whole team were so awesome throughout my whole breast reduction/lift process. It went so smoothly and they look amazing. I feel so much more confident in my body now. I would recommend her to anyone thinking about having it done! It’s so worth it. Thank you :)

Dr. Grunwaldt performed a reduction/lift 6 weeks ago, and the results are beautiful and perfect. The scars are going to look fantastic, they already do. Her whole office is very kind and responsive. I discovered Dr. Grunwaldt after a deeply disheartening experience with another plastic surgeon in the area. During my initial consultation elsewhere, I was insulted the moment I removed my gown. With visible disgust, the surgeon commented that I had “the breasts of an 80-year-old” and referred to the fat around my breasts and underarms as “yuckies” that needed to be removed. Despite my clear and confident desire to be a B cup, she repeatedly dismissed me, insisting I should settle for a “perfect C.” To clarify, I did not seek breast reduction and lift surgery out of insecurity. I had noticeably uneven breasts and years of physical discomfort from large, dense breast tissue that had begun to affect my shoulders. After that first appointment, I went home in tears, feeling humiliated and disrespected. That experience led me to Dr. Grunwaldt — and thank goodness it did. From the very beginning, she was a breath of fresh air. Dr. Grunwaldt greeted me with a kind heart, an empathetic ear, and a beautiful smile. She listened carefully to my goals and made me feel heard and respected. She confirmed that I was a great candidate for surgery and supported my desire to be a B cup without hesitation or judgment. The surgery itself went smoothly, and Dr. Grunwaldt even went above and beyond by removing a scar from a previous surgery. Throughout the entire process, she was consistently gracious, attentive, and incredibly skilled. Her professionalism and warmth made a world of difference in my experience. Her staff was equally wonderful — genuine, kind, and supportive every step of the way. I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Grunwaldt. She restored not just my body, but my trust in this process. I would recommend her time and time again to anyone considering breast surgery. She is exactly the kind of surgeon every patient deserves.
