Dr. Sands is a board-certified plastic surgeon focusing on aesthetic body contouring and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation. He takes a highly curated, personal approach, unlike most other surgeons, who may leave patients feeling rushed, unheard, and uncomfortable. The practice is inclusive and welcomes patients from all backgrounds and walks of life. He works closely with vivacious moms ready to feel pleased with their bodies by restoring breasts and body after pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. Dr. Sands' trans patients love him for his empathy and expertise as they go through the journey of their transition. And for those patients who have accomplished massive weight loss, he is there cheering them on to be their new best versions of themselves. No matter the background or goal, Dr. Sands treats every patient with digity, respect and care. 

Dr. Sands is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree from LSU New Orleans, he advanced his training by achieving a degree in general surgery at the renowned Texas Medical Center at the University of Texas. His journey to excellence in plastic surgery included serving at renowned medical centers, including Memorial Herman Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, St. Luke’s Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and Texas Heart Hospital. He then returned to New Orleans, completing a Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine.
