Dr. Frank T. Lansden , learned a lot from his father, including how to fly airplanes, and when the time came, he decided he wanted to be a doctor like him. He earned his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and then completed his first surgical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He stayed there for four more years to complete his first surgical residency and then completed a second at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Since then, he has strived to create as much positive impact in his field as possible. He joined the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and also taught at the Medical University of South Carolina and Florida State University.

No matter where he goes, he is always inexorably drawn to the beauty and serenity of the Keys. So he thought, why not bring his family and move there to practice? It has been the best decision he could have made. The great thing about this location is also that he can perform work in other areas of South Florida such as Miami, where he recently decided to practice on a regular basis.
