Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Bernabe Vazquez has more than 30 years experience helping patients look and feel their best through plastic surgery, safely. Dr. Vazquez graduated with a degree in Chemistry from The University of Miami before going on to medical school at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico, where he graduated first in his class. He then went on to complete a five-year general surgery residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he achieved the level of Chief Resident. Another two-year residency, this time in plastic surgery, followed at The Medical College of Georgia, where he was again honored with the designation of Chief Resident. Dr. Bernabe Vazquez rounded out his education with fellowships in cosmetic surgery, during which he was trained by world-renowned plastic surgeons in Rio de Janeiro and Miami, eventually completing his training with a certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Proving his adherence to the highest standards and safest practices of the plastic surgery profession, Dr. Vazquez has maintained active membership in a number of prestigious organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has acted in various leadership roles that include his past presidency at the Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons and his designation as Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Mercy Hospital, the latter of which lasted several years. As a proud Fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons, each year Dr. Bernabe Vazquez is asked to attend several major national conferences, allowing him to keep abreast of the most modern achievements in his field. His years of training and experience, including performing thousands of plastic surgery procedures with precision and skill, has built Dr. Vazquez a solid reputation as a master of his field, leading him to publish several scientific articles regarding breast augmentation and breast reduction. His expertise was requested on both a local and national level, causing him to make multiple media appearances to share his depth of knowledge on various plastic surgery procedures and surgical techniques.
