I saw Dr Edelman for about a year. I ran out of a prescription that is regularly used for atrophy and called her office for an appointment. I also asked if she could renew the prescription now, as I ran out and would schedule an appointment for an annual exam. She said no. I scheduled an appt for today but caught Covid and couldn’t make appt. I called her office telling them I was in discomfort with symptoms (been out now for over a week) and pleading for her office to renew and planned to reschedule. She said no. Mind you I have stage 4 lymphoma, and she knows that. I have been taking this particular medicine years prior to my appt with her last year. Called and asked for a call back. Never received one. Called my primary care physician that cares about me as a person and he prescribed them for me. I will find another gyn and find her office incredibly insensitive.

I would have liked to have been a patient but unfortunately because of my insurance I was denied an appointment. I checked with my insurance to make sure this Dr was a participating provider which they confirmed she was. I called to get set up and asked the receptionist if they were accepting new patients. Her answer was "What's your insurance"? I told her and she immediately said "no we are not". I was quite disappointed. Because I don't have a top of the line insurance I was denied an appointment. It clearly states she IS accepting new patients on my insurance plan website. I find this not only unfair but also very rude. I have an urgent matter and really needed to see a DR.

I recently had an endoscopic procedure done by Dr. Julia Edelman. She was extremely gentle, knowledgeable and made me feel absolutely comfortable with no pain at all due to her precautionary measures of medications to ensure that I would have no discomfort. Doing a procedure like this can be worrisome because you don’t know what to expect. She takes the time to educate you prior to the procedure answer all your questions and concerns she truly cares about women and all the new changes we go through during life’s difficult transitions . I highly recommend her !!

Dr. Edelman is incredible! She listens to all your concerns, is kind and compassionate. She's so knowledgeable and taught me how to navigate the phase of life I'm going through. For example, I was concerned with getting the IUD because of weight gain, but she assured me it wouldn't happen. And lo and behold- she was correct! Not only did I not gain weight, I lost it. If I could give 10 stars for her and her team, I would. Thank you Dr. Edelman for everything you do!

I’m so disappointed still with the cool sculpting of my upper arms that I had almost a year ago because the results were not what was expected. After the procedure, I had and have more flab under my upper arms than before the cool sculpting. It cost a lot of money to not have the results that were discussed and expected. I was also expecting better results under my chin, as there was minimal improvement. Erika was kind and understanding throughout the process, yet I was disappointed with Dr. Edelman not seeing me with Erika when I went back to discuss my concerns and disappointments since my appointment was changed to make sure I would see her then. There was no accountability for the lack of results except to offer one more procedure on one arm. Why would I do that with the results of flab?
